The merino wool is genuinely soft against my skin, no itch at all even after a full day. The rib knit stretches just enough that it stays put without squeezing my head. Wore it on a cold morning run and my ears never once felt the wind.
I wore this under my ski helmet for three days straight and it never got itchy or damp, which is rare for wool. The rib knit stretches just enough to cover my chin without pulling. Genuinely the warmest balaclava I've owned.
The merino wool is genuinely soft, no itch at all even after a couple hours of wear. Only gripe is the rib knit stretches out a bit around the chin by the end of the day. Still, it's warm without making me sweat on my walk to work.
