The hood actually stays up without flopping over my face, which was my main worry. Terry is thick enough to soak up water after a shower but dries fast hanging on the hook, and the lemon embroidery is a nice subtle touch.
I've washed this robe maybe a dozen times and the terry is still just as fluffy with no pilling. The hood actually stays up without feeling bulky, which I didn't expect from a robe this thick.
The lemon embroidery is subtle enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing a costume, just a nice robe with a little detail. The terry is thick without being heavy, and it soaks up water fast after a shower. The detachable belt is handy since I usually just toss it in the wash with the robe.
