The silk blend is noticeably softer than the cotton hats we've tried, and my daughter actually leaves it on. It doesn't slip down over her eyes either, which was my main worry.
Bought this for my two-year-old and it actually stays put during stroller naps instead of sliding over her eyes. The ribbed silk-cotton blend feels way nicer than the scratchy acrylic one we had before, and the pale blush goes with basically everything.
The silk-cotton rib is so soft my daughter actually leaves it on during stroller naps, which never happened with her old acrylic one. It stretches just enough to fit her head without leaving red marks on her forehead. Washed it twice already and it still looks new.
