The elasticated cuffs actually stay put on my wriggly 8-month-old, which I didn't expect from something so soft. Wool fleece feels dense and warm but not itchy, and they've survived two 30-degree washes without shrinking.
The wool fleece is genuinely soft, no scratchiness at all, and the ribbed cuffs actually stay up on my wriggly nine-month-old instead of sliding off. Washed them at 30 degrees and they came out just as fluffy.
My little one refuses to take these off, which says everything. The ribbed cuffs keep them snug on wiggly ankles, and after a week of drool and mud, a 30-degree wash brought them right back to that soft grey fluff.
