Made from 100% merino wool
Wore this under my ski helmet all weekend and the ribbed edge kept it from sliding around at all. The merino kept my face warm without that itchy feeling I usually get from wool.
The merino wool is genuinely soft, no itch at all even after a couple hours on my head. The ribbed edges keep it snug without squeezing my face, which was my worry. Genuinely the warmest thing I own for winter cycling now.
Wore this on a windy morning walk and my face stayed perfectly warm the whole time. The ribbed edges hug my cheeks without squeezing, and it's soft enough that I forget I have it on.
