The bumper is much softer than I expected and the string ties hold it firmly to the rails without slipping. My son naps longer now that he isn't bumping his head on the wooden edge.
My little one finally stopped rolling into the wooden rail and sleeps way more peacefully now. The 36-inch length covers the whole side of the crib, and the fabric is genuinely soft, not that stiff stuff you sometimes get.
The strings made it so easy to tie onto our bed rail, took me maybe two minutes. It's the perfect length to run along the whole side and it stays put even when my son rolls around at night.
