The crinkly pages are the clear favorite here, and the fluffy patch on the last spread gets grabbed every single time. The cardboard is thick enough that my toddler hasn't managed to bend a corner yet, which says a lot.
My 8-month-old goes straight for the fluffy duck page every time I hand her this book, and the thick cardboard has survived plenty of chewing and grabbing already. The illustrations are bright enough to hold her attention through the whole thing.
The crinkly texture on the last page keeps my daughter busy way longer than I expected for a board book. Pages are thick enough that she can't bend them, which is a relief since she's still in the grab-and-rip phase.
