The PCTG material is surprisingly sturdy for how light it feels, and the shovel actually digs through packed sand instead of bending. My kids used it for hours at the pool and it rinsed clean in seconds.
Took this on a beach trip with my toddler and it survived being dragged through wet sand all day without cracking. The bucket is surprisingly light, so my kid could actually carry it full without complaining.
Took this to the beach last weekend and my daughter spent two hours building castles without the bucket cracking once. The lightweight build made it easy for her to carry her own set down to the water and back.
